Australia's trippy psychedelic rockers Tame Impala return with a sophomore album, Lonerism, this fall and they're streaming the first single from the record, the blissed-out blues-infused "Elephant," below.
The single is due out next month with additional remixes from Todd Rundgren and Canyons. Tame Impala, playing the Splendor in the Grass Festival in Byron Bay, Australia this weekend, return to North America for a short festival sprint this August, with sets at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Montréal's Osheaga Festival. They'll also play a gig with the Black Keys in Council Bluffs, Iowa on August 1.
Lonerism will be released Stateside on October 9 via Modular Recordings (October 8 in UK/EU, October 6 in Australia).
